Hi. I’m Russell. I’m a photographer based in Alloa, Scotland.
I am married to an amazing woman and have a fiery, strong-willed and kind daughter. I understand the importance of capturing moments in time with your family.
As mentioned, I am based in Alloa but travel to any locations throughout Scotland that you have in mind for your photo shoot ideas. I grew up on the west coast in Ayrshire but have lived in and around Stirling and Alloa for 16 years now since moving for university.
I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a teenager (MySpace generation obvs) and have since been collecting an array of digital and film cameras. My wife would say I have too many probably...
Spending time with your loved ones is so important and for me it’s what drives a lot of my passion for photography these days.
I got married in 2021 and had my daughter shortly after. The photographs I have from these moments are some of my most treasured.
A lot changes in life but having photographs to look back on and remember the important people, the fun times, how much your children have grown and how much you’ve age can make you feel very rich.
Outside of photography I also work in Ecology and I am a scuba diver. I have worked an travelled all over Scotland so always have suggestions of good places to go and more importantly eat.
